Professional Food Manager class

A professional food protection management class will be held on February 17th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in room G-13 of the County Courthouse, 200 W. State Street, Groesbeck.

The food safety course will equip you with the latest in food safety principles and practices and will help prepare you for the ServSafe Certified Food Manager Examination.  The cost of this course is $115 which includes the course, ServSafe certification examination, coursebook, and all course materials.

Registration materials are available at the Limestone County Extension office, on the following website under events, http://limestone.agrilife.org/

This program is designed to not only prepare foodservice managers to pass the certification examination; it will provide valuable education regarding the safe handling of food.  Almost 50 cents of every dollar Americans spend on food is spent on meals prepared away from home.  Therefore, careful attention to food safety will help keep customers safe and satisfied.

Educational programs of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information or veteran status.  If you need any special accommodations for this class, please contact the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Limestone County, at (254) 729-5314.
