FREE Limestone County Senior Celebration!

Celebrating Limestone County’s Senior Citizens is the order of the day on December 6th, 2013.  This “Senior Celebration” will take place from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the Mexia Senior Center, 111 North Sherman Street, Mexia, and will feature local entertainment, refreshments, games, activities, and health checks.  A free gift will be given out to the first 100 guests!

Sponsoring the event is the Family and Consumer Sciences Committee of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Limestone County.  Door prizes, which are donated by local merchants, will be presented throughout the event.

Helping to plan the event are Ann Vinson, Coolidge Senior Center Site Manager; Kimberley Meyers, Limestone Medical Center; Jennifer Lynch, Parkview Regional Hospital; Maria Solano, Superior Health Plans; Ginger Wietzikoski; Judy Spears; Martha Saling, Mexia Long Term Care; Kasey’s Kreations and Curves; Leeann Guest, Guardian Healthcare; and Vanessa Casad, County Extension Agent – Family and Consumer Sciences, Limestone County, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, serves as advisor to the committee.
